true...hence the name "Leppardesses"...bc some of us ladies are true die hard def leppard fans and have been fans since childhood..so DL is part of our lives and who we are. and when haters come to attack them, we stand up for them and each other bc DEF LEPPARD ROCKS!!!!!! :)

That's what I think too, but I wasn't gonna say it. But since you did I'll agree with ya! There's just a wee bit of jealousy going on with that I do believe. Doesn't matter. We "true" Leppard fans know they rock. We don't care about those others, now do we?

Well, Gath. Thanks so much for the explanation b/c I just couldn't fathom why anyone would ever call Def Leppard pop. I do listen to some pop, and like some of the pop artists. But never in a million years would I have ever considered Def Leppard to be pop. I guess everyone's intitled to an opinion, but it sounds silly to me. Interestingly, the ones who I've seen that feel like that are all male. Maybe Pete didn't have female fans! Ya think? :) Tx for clearing that up!!

Dear Patti: Def Leppard has been called "pop" because those who remember def leppard from '77 ie Pete Wilis' days felt it was harder and more metal, and they think and always have, that Pete was a rock god. he never coulda been. he was necessary for Def Leppard and Leppards ages hence in the distillation of perfection. imo. :)
